It is formally known as the Communications and Leadership program, comprising of 10 speeches that you have to deliver within your group after which you qualify as a Competent Toastmaster (CTM) which is internationally recognized. I would encourage all people, especially those who deem themselves as shy, to consider Toastmasters as it does wonders for your overall confidence and self-esteem.
